Our Story

We made Alaska home back in 2012. While exploring the state, we discovered that in addition to the amazing hiking, fishing, and wildlife, Alaska also has exceptional small batch food producers.

We traveled all over the State, and we kept finding great people working to make great food: Amazing chocolate in Girdwood, baked goods in Talkeetna made from Barley grown and milled in Delta Junction. But sharing these experiences and foods with friends and family just wasn’t easy. So we began scouring the state, finding the Alaskans that make this amazing food. We searched farmer’s markets, local communities, and tiny, farflung shops for wholesome, gourmetquality Alaskan products. Now, we combine our favorites into unique gift boxes ready to go wherever a great gift is needed.

Alaska Home Grown: The Artisans

We travel the state to find Alaskans making amazing food – like Marcus of Chugach Chocolates, who is in the picture at left hand making chocolates in Girdwood, AK. We then partner with them and combine their products into our subscription boxes and gift baskets. To find out more about the food artisans and products we use, click below.
